As Product Manager Trade Finance Financial Institutions (FI), you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the origination and development of trade finance solutions. You will originate and structure trade finance transactions for financial institutions (FI) and corporate clients, with a focus on documentary credits.
You & your position
You will manage and expand a portfolio of international banks, identify new business opportunities, and meet defined sales and income targets in alignment with the department’s business objectives. The role requires deep expertise in trade finance and the ability to build strong networks across diverse markets.
Top responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective banks, understanding their trade finance business and creating tailored solutions
Develop and execute business plans to open new markets and strengthen Rabobank’s trade finance coverage, focusing on new business opportunities.
Prepare client proposals, pitch books, and presentations to support business development efforts.
Achieve individual and team-based sales and income targets through proactive engagement with banks and clients
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, pipeline activity, and deal progress using department reporting tools.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders including credit risk, legal, and operations to enable a smooth commercial process and achieve business goals
The position sits within the TCF Trade Finance team, reporting to Francoise Roche. You will work closely with a diverse team of specialists, each responsible for different regions and customers, and play a key role in expanding Rabobank’s trade finance business.

Launch initiatives to increase Rabobank’s coverage in new and existing markets.
