As a Data Engineer within our forward-thinking Digital Innovation & Analytics department, you'll be a vital member of our Non-Financial Risk and People Analytics team. You support the team with current BI challenges and bring solid experience with Power BI. But your enthusiasm doesn't stop there-you are passionate about AI developments and closely follow the latest innovations in the field. While working, you are continuously developing yourself towards becoming an AI Engineer. You help stakeholders build AI and analytics solutions that simplify, accelerate, and make work more predictable and efficient. Your proactive mindset ensures that you not only solve today's issues but also anticipate future needs in business intelligence and artificial intelligence.
You also have the following tasks:
- Data Pipeline Automation: Setting up automated ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to create models on our analytical platforms.
- Create and maintain data models in Power BI
- Develop and deliver comprehensive Power BI reports to analysts and decision-makers
- Bring value to the business by inventing, designing, developing and deploying technical solutions in a responsible way.
- Research proactively for novel methods to approach problems and challenges.
- Support model deployment, with an emphasis on auditability, versioning, and data security.
- Apply best practices in software development, including CI/CD and automation, to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions.
Requirements"Passionate about (AI) technology, collaborative, and analytical". This is how we can best describe you in the position of Data Engineer. Talents that you use to continuously mitigate non-financial risks for our stakeholders by applying data engineering and AI solutions. And thinking out of the box and asking questions. All will be well if you have a strong background in Data Engineering using Databricks and Power BI and also:
- 2-4 years of experience in data engineering or similar roles
- Experience with dimensional modelling in Power BI
- Skilled in Python programming: Proficient in writing, debugging, and optimizing Python code for data engineering tasks
- Good knowledge of SQL & PySpark
- Experience with Azure Databricks: Hands-on experience with Databricks notebooks, workflows, and unity catalog, including developing and managing complex data pipelines
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks Asset Bundles to build, automate, and manage scalable data integration and transformation pipelines.
- Knowledge of Power Apps/Power Automate is a plus.
- Experience with AI models, frameworks, and libraries. Experience with Azure AI Foundry is a plus.
- At least 2 years working in an Agile (SCRUM) environment, using Microsoft DevOps and Git version control.
- A creative and problem-solving mindset with a keen interest in learning new technologies and trends
- Good mastery of English, both oral and written.
