Role Overview:
The Business Development & Growth Manager will be responsible for establishing, expanding, and scaling the proxy business in Zambia. This role focuses on client acquisition, partnerships, revenue growth, and operational coordination to build a strong and sustainable local presence.
What you'll do:
Business Growth & Strategy
- Develop growth strategy for the proxy business in Zambia.
- Identify new business opportunities, sectors, and customer segments for existing business.
- Set and achieve revenue, client acquisition, and market share targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments.
Sales & Client Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements.
- Act as the primary local point of contact for major accounts.
Partnerships & Networking
- Establish partnerships with local businesses, service providers, regulators, and agents.
- Represent the company at industry events, meetings, and networking forums.
- Build trust and credibility for the brand in the Zambian market.
Operations & Execution
- Coordinate local operations to ensure smooth delivery of proxy services.
- Work closely with regional or headquarters teams on systems, compliance, and reporting.
- Ensure services meet quality, compliance, and performance standards.
- Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks quickly.
Reporting & Performance
- Prepare regular reports on sales, growth, market insights, and risks.
- Track KPIs and continuously optimize performance.
- Provide strategic recommendations to management.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, IT, or a related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in business development, sales, or market expansion.
- Strong understanding of the Zambian business environment.
- Proven track record of growing revenue.
