About the Role
As an Enterprise Account Executive focused on nonprofit organizations in Germany and Switzerland, you will play a key role in building strategic relationships with large nonprofit institutions.
You will work closely with executive stakeholders to understand their mission, operational challenges, and strategic priorities, positioning Salesforce solutions to support their digital transformation journey.
You operate as the CEO of your territory, developing a deep understanding of your customers’ business and building trusted partnerships that enable long-term success.
Your Impact
Success in this role will be measured by your ability to grow existing accounts, develop new opportunities, and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
Key responsibilities include:
Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders across nonprofit organizations
Build a deep understanding of customer priorities, challenges, and mission objectives
Develop and execute long-term account strategies aligned with customer business goals
Drive pipeline development and manage the full sales cycle
Collaborate with internal Salesforce teams including Solution Engineers, Customer Success, and product specialists
Deliver compelling presentations and articulate the Salesforce value proposition
Identify and drive growth opportunities within existing accounts
Coordinate internal Salesforce resources to support customer success
Maintain strong forecasting discipline and pipeline management
Stay informed on nonprofit industry trends and competitive offerings
Support customers in driving meaningful digital transformation initiatives
Minimum Requirements
5–10 years of full-cycle SaaS sales experience
Proven track record of closing enterprise deals
Experience selling into large or complex organizations
Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with C-level executives
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Fluency in German and English
Ability to travel as required
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling enterprise software into nonprofit or public sector organizations
Strong financial and business acumen
Experience developing account plans and mutual close plans
Demonstrated success working in cross-functional teams
Proven ability to consistently exceed sales targets
