WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH The Specialist II works as a part of a multidisciplinary design team, focused on the execution of the look and feel of the campaigns, across design, art direction and motion. Supporting Lead Creatives and Creative Directors on Sports projects.
As part of your day to day, you will partner with creative directors, creative leads, designers, creative strategists, writers, and production within Brand Creative.
Beyond this core team you will also partner with the Marketing Team in EMEA which includes, Brand, Digital, Retail and Partner Marketing, as well as Integrated Media, Brand experience and Brand Voice.
Outside of Nike, you will collaborate with a range of creative and agency partners.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? We are looking for a multidisciplinary creative who demonstrates innovative thinking whilst maintaining an obsession around the craft, ensuring every project meets the highest standards of excellence. You are culturally aware with a deep connection to sport and youth culture, and a passion for Design and Art Direction that keeps you at the forefront of the creative industry. Highly curious, with a proactive approach. A creative who seeks out new information, technology or creative inspiration and is constantly growing their knowledge of emerging creative talent and voices.
You'll bring:- 3-5 years of work experience (internship, part-time, full-time) in art direction and design within an agency or brand with a strong focus on sport, sport lifestyle, fashion and culture.
- Strong track record of designing and executing across various mediums including Art Direction, Graphic Design, Typography, Digital Design, Social Media & Experience Designs.
- A strong portfolio of outstanding work, with a sharp focus on ideation and visual storytelling through design and art direction.
- Experience working on complex project work streams, collaborating with internal and external partners from the concept phase to execution.
- Extensive knowledge of design processes and software with proven proficiency in Adobe Creative, Figma, Keynote and related design software.
- Proven experience in effectively developing, crafting, and implementing creative concepts to share with internal audiences through presentations.
- Proven ability to work on team efforts while working independently to deliver on individual responsibilities.
- Genuine passion for sport and its cultural influence.
- Exposure to, and in-depth understanding of EMEA youth culture and behavior.
- Highly developed understanding of consumer engagement towards creative content, digital products, social platforms, physical executions, environments and experiences.
- Ability to travel 10-15%.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?Working within a team you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Nike's brand expression to a high standard by ideating, executing and delivering creative across all of our channels, both physical and digital. You will work with the team around you to translate briefs and marketing plans into creative concepts that are clearly articulated in presentations with mood boards, prototypes, design thinking and comps.
You will support workstreams by developing and crafting creative concepts for both product launches and marketing campaigns across EMEA, either originating work in the geo or executing global campaign extensions.
Within a team you'll work to provide and deliver innovative design and art direction thinking, whilst also collaborating with external partners to deliver well-crafted executions.
You will proactively work to learn new skills and stay abreast of technical and digital design developments and successfully apply these to work practices. You'll share insights and knowledge with the wider Nike design community and work with them to ensure continuity across our initiatives, categories and projects.
