We areseekinga commercially driven andmotivated FTCJuniorCategory Manageruntil the end of December 2026 toown and manage theProperty & Estates and Health & SafetyCategoriesbyleading onsourcing and contract initiatives.Working closely withinternal stakeholdersto deliver cost-effective, sustainable, and resilient supply solutions. The successful candidate will bring procurementexpertise, stakeholder engagement skills, and a passion for driving operational excellence in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management
- Engage with new and existing suppliers to ensure robust commercial and contractual agreements.
- Identifyand deliver sourcing opportunities through spend analysis and market research.
- Negotiateappropriatecontract terms toaddressrisk andsupportcommercialand businesspriorities.
- Manage key suppliers inlifeto ensure that contractual commitments are met
CategoryPlanning & Execution
- Collaborate withinternal stakeholdersto align procurement plans withthestakeholdersgoals.
- Createcategoryplans using spend data and analysisand socialize and update on a regular basis.
Goodsand ServicesSupply
- Manage procurement activities related to the supply of goodsand servicesacross various categories.
- Apply generalist procurement knowledgeand market insights and datato support sourcing decisions.
Contract & Risk Management
- Draft and manage contracts including Framework Agreements and Statements of Work.
- Ensure contracts include KPIs, SLAs, and performance tracking requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Develop effective relationships with internal stakeholders includingProperty & Estates,Health & Safety,Security,Finance, Legal, Strategy, and Compliance.
Process Improvement & Compliance
- Suggestprocurement process improvements (whereappropriate)toenhance efficiency and best practices.
- Support supplier due diligence and ensure adherence to SOX and financial obligations.
What Are We Looking For?
Knowledge & Skills:
In this role it is essential that you have:
A good understandingin drafting and negotiatingrobust and detailed contracts to meet businessobjectivesincluding Framework Agreements, Statements of Work, and associated KPIs/SLAs, along with anyadditionalrelevant performance tracking requirements.
An understanding of Category management and its role within Procurement and the wider business.
A goodknowledge and experience of the sourcing ofgoodsand services, including RFP’s RFQ’s etc.
Experience of generating fact-based insights through analysis using tools and techniques to provide strategic direction, including competency using Excel / pivot tables.
Ability to pivot where directed or necessary between business priorities in a fast-moving environment.
Working knowledge of P2P and Procurement systems, preferably Microsoft D365 and Medius.

- Intermediate / Advanced Excel skills to create pivot tables & other data analysis insights
- Working knowledge of P2P systems (Microsoft D365 preferred)
