As part of our strategic growth agenda, we are hiring a new Order-to-Cash Internal Controls Manager.
Our preferred locations for this role are set in Poland (Krakow) and India (Bangalore). We also expect the successful candidate to travel up to 10% of the time.
As Order-to-Cash Internal Controls Manager you will be part of the Order-to-Cash Global Process Owner organization. In this role you will be responsible for supporting and facilitating the assessment of financial reporting risks and the design, implementing and maintaining of a high-quality system of internal control over financial reporting, identifying and mitigating non-financial risks within O2C space jointly with respective sub-processownerswithin GPO team.
The Order-to-Cash (O2C) end-to-end process is a fundamental component of ABB’s transformation journey, both in the current technology environment and in the future. The primary role of the Order-to-Cash (O2C) Internal Controls expert is to ensure process quality in the current environment and lead there-design of the O2C controls(where applicable)going forwardas a result ofcontinuous changes (AI) and continuedABB Way Finance Transformation Programand Data & System Modernization program (DSM).

Key responsibilities
- Drive continuous transformation of the O2C internal control environment, focusing onoptimization, simplification, and rationalization of controlswhile ensuring robust risk coverage
- Ensure theRisk and Control Matrix (RACM)is fully up-to-date, comprehensive, and reflective of the evolving O2C risk landscape across all Business Areas
- Lead initiatives toincrease automation and leverage digital solutions, including AI, to reduce manual controls and enhance control effectiveness and efficiency
- Partner closely with Business Areas and Divisions todeep dive into localized controls, challenge complexity, and drive harmonization and simplification
- Establish and maintain astrong benchmarking approach, actively comparing ABB’s control environment against external best practices and industry standards
- Strengthencompliance monitoring and governancethrough clear, streamlined Policies and Procedures—eliminating duplication, ambiguity, and increasing transparency
- Oversee execution of internal control activitiesincluding testing, deficiency assessment, root cause analysis, andsustainable remediation actions
- Act as a key contributor to globalO2C transformation initiatives(including ABB Way Finance Transformation), ensuring future-proof control design and strong alignment with governance frameworks
- Facilitate discussionsaboutoperational & compliance riskswithbusiness and other relevant stakeholdersi.e. with regards toTPM Sellinitiative
- Closeinvolvement andcollaborationaroundKey Risk Indicators(KRIs)build up,to ensure alignment with our RACM and internal risk classification
- Active role inassessing Order-to-Cash global projectsin regard totheir impact on internal control environment to ensure full synchronization and accuracy (e.g. Customer Master Data initiative or Third Party sell project)
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience inOrder-to-Cash, internal controls, or risk management, ideally in a multinational environment or Big 4 advisory
- Strong expertise ininternal controls frameworks (e.g., SOX, US GAAP)and risk management methodologies
- Proven track record indriving control optimization, automation, or digital transformation initiatives, includingexposure to AI-enabled solutions
- Deep understanding of end-to-end O2C processes and their associated risks and control points
- Experience inbenchmarking, governance framework design, and policy standardizationacross global organizations
- Strong stakeholder management skillsand collaboration skillswith the ability to influence across global, cross-functional teams
- Analytical mindset with the ability to simplify complex environmentsand drive continuous improvement
- Excellent communicationskills and fluency in English
