What you’ll do
CrossBoundary Energy is recruiting a full-time Investment Associate / Senior Investment Associate to support our Investment team. As a member of the team, you will contribute to all fundraising, project due diligence and investment, portfolio management and risk mitigation workstreams.
Primary Responsibilities
Fundraising: Drive group-level senior debt and subordinated debt capital raising materials and processes, including corporate and project finance models, presentations, investment memoranda, term sheet negotiation, and due diligence
Ensuring projects align with portfolio objectives, return requirements, and risk appetite, and are structured to be bankable for project finance investors
Project development: Analysis of economics and risks within project development, financial modeling, and project contracts, to support the Project Development team in developing value-accretive projects and investments
Required Skills and Experience
Demonstrated transaction experience in corporate/project finance, financial modelling, due diligence, investment analysis, fundraising, and transaction execution

Location / Travel
Our preferred location is Nairobi, Kenya. Some infrequent travel will be required.
