The Manager technical department is responsible for you are part of the department Maintenance and Facility. You are the main contact for technical related questions, advice and adjustments for technical aspects and the technical team. You lead the team that is responsible for the operational reliability, maintenance and safety of technical installation, spare-part management, machine checklists and all machine and building HSE aspects.

This position reports to the Manager Maintenance and Facility and is part of the technical department located in Medemblik and will be an on-site role.

What you will do:

Managing of the employees within the workshop and the technical engineers
Working with a work orders system and data improvement in a CMMS and BMS
Determining planning and priorities with regard to activities, in consultation with Maintenance Manager.
DBS tools to continuously improve
- Is open to suggestions and experiments through "try-storming".
- Is result- and action-oriented and has a good sense of urgency.
Supervising an efficient layout of the workplace. (5S structure

Who you are:

5 years of management experience in mechanical engineering
Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or technical management
3/5 Years of functional experience
Knowledge of tools and production equipment
CMMS and ERP knowledge
Excellent communication skills in the English and Dutch language
Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, vertical lookups ) and other MS Office applications

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Excellent analytical & problem solving skills
In-depth understanding of procurement processes
Team player, but is also able to work independently
