The Houlihan Lokey Corporate Finance business has extensive expertise in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, activist shareholder and takeover defense, and other related advisory services for a broad range of clients. In addition, we have the proven ability to engineer and execute financing solutions that are essential for growth and success and offer access to financing in the public and alternative capital markets through the issuance of debt, equity, or hybrid securities. Healthcare

Houlihan Lokey’s Healthcare group is one of the most active and trusted partners in healthcare, providing M&A advisory and capital-raising services to middle market leaders across MedTech, healthcare IT, healthcare services, managed care and life sciences. Scope

The Healthcare team at Houlihan Lokey are looking to add a Vice President in Zurich.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute M&A transactions
Develop and review financial models including database systems
Coordinate and perform business due diligence
Prepare confidential information memoranda, management presentations, marketing pitches and other presentations
Manage, mentor and develop the junior team
Build relationships and maintain direct contact with clients, prospective clients and professional advisors
Acting as a key client contact on transactions, leading client meetings and playing a significant role in pitches
Assist in initiating and extending group marketing and client development efforts

Requirements/Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with fluency in both German and English is required (additional language skills are also advantageous)
6+ years of experience in Investment Banking / Corporate Finance
Experience in the Healthcare sector favourably regarded, including completion of sell side mandates
Strong execution experience on end-to-end deals (closed deal experience)
Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring Financial Analysts & Associates
Must have the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
Strong knowledge of accounting and applied financial theory
Strong work ethic, organizational skills and ability to multitask
Strategic mindset and strong sector insight with the ability to suggest the best solutions for our clients
Motivated, creative, outgoing and possess strong skills in financial analysis
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to grow our business and act entrepreneurially
