You are part of a robust Financial Economic Crime (FEC) organisation, in which we make an impactful contribution to the prevention of Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Sanctions Violation. You will contribute by identifying and managing the bank’s integrity risks from a FEC perspective.
You and your role
Together with your colleagues you will work on the FEC SIRA, which is one of the key strategic steering tools for senior management of Rabobank for managing FEC risks. The FEC SIRA makes use of the assessment of the FEC risks executed within the business lines, which are supported by you and your colleagues from the FEC SIRA & RAS team. In addition, the team is in charge of executing several overarching activities, like performing a business specific portfolio analysis to identify FEC risks from a global perspective. The team incorporates several FEC SIRA building blocks into a Global FEC SIRA report, which is used by both the FEC and the organizations to manage the FEC risks and their mitigating actions.
Making a difference
As part of this role, you will provide support on:
The assessment of the FEC risks within the bank. This includes guiding these assessments by having regular interaction with the regions and global business lines of W&R.
Providing a FEC SIRA Guidance, MI-dashboards and a detailed project planning to the regions and global business lines of W&R.
The co-creation and writing of the Global FEC SIRA W&R report, including leading or participating in some of its overarching activities.
Project management activities, including monitoring and reporting on the progress of activities.

Education/Work and attitude level: WO (University).
5+ years of experience in risk management in an international context, preferably in the financial sector industry, banking. BiG 4 experience is a pre as well.
Knowledge of money laundering, terrorism finance and sanctions regulations, including scenarios and detection methodologies.
Knowledge of Banking services and products.
Knowledge of Dutch and International law on ML, TF and Sanctions.
Experience in dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
A critical mind-set with a hands-on approach and can-do attitude.
You speak Dutch and English at level B2/C1.

Our FEC Business Risk department has set up as a connection between the FEC organisation and our key Business lines (W&R and RNL). It serves as the primary FEC point of contact for the business (FEC2B), which is organised in (global) business lines (a/o Core Lending, Trade & Commodity Finance, Retail Mortgages, cash management etc), and regions (Asia, Australia & New Zealand, Europe & Africa, North America, South America). As part of the linking pin role, specific attention to collaboration with CDD, Transaction Monitoring, Sanctions, FEC Investigations and FEC Governance/Risk/Change is required, to partner together to fight FEC and safeguarding our customers and society.
The FEC Business Risk department ensures effective forward looking risk management by maintaining effective oversight of FEC risks and controls, whereby the FEC SIRA, and FEC Risk Appetite Statement activities serve as an important foundation. FEC Business Risk is a dynamic, energized and human-centric team that highly values open and constructive dialogue. The department consists of two sub-teams: FEC SIRA and FEC RAS.
