About the role:
This role will be accountable for sales forecasting, designing and maintaining interactive dashboards and comprehensive reports, perform a wide range of data analyses, rigorously monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and handle incentive finalization processes. This role requires close collaboration with internal and regional stakeholders across Africa, Asia, and Latin America to support strategic and operational decision-making. The incumbent will be expected to deliver timely, accurate, and high-quality outputs while ensuring efficient execution of all assigned project deliverables.
What you would be expected to do:
1. Sales Forecasting & Inventory Planning:
- Capturing monthly sales projections across all channels by coordinating with function heads / managers and highlighting any major deviations
- Co-coordinating with operations managers to facilitate the inventory planning process
- Preparing monthly reports like forecasted v/s actuals, gap, waterfall and trend analysis.
- Collaborating with the automation team to develop a system-driven forecasting model.
2. Dashboards, Reporting and Analysis:
- Maintaining & updating performance dashboards on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis and ensuring accuracy of the data mentioned therein
- Monitoring sales and profitability performance of partners / distributors
- Undertaking top-line, COGS and margin analysis to track the trend and variances with the historical base and ensuring accuracy of the monthly MIS reports
- Reconciling sales, stocks & payments records with those of internal finance records as well as those of select customers
- Supporting and preparing ad-hoc reports as per the business requirements
- Collaborating and working closely with relevant teams to automate reports and deliverables
3. KPI Monitoring and Incentive Finalization:
- Preparing and publishing KPI dashboard for different sales channels & cross functional teams by providing actionable insights on deviations & gaps
- Evaluating target v/s actuals performance of business development and sales teams on a monthly & quarterly basis and assist in timely verification and submission of incentive working
- Ensuring verification of incentive provisions and submission
4. Competitive Intel:
- Maintain a world class dashboard of intel with online and on ground research of latest products, market news, pricing, processes etc.
You might be a strong candidate if you have/are:
- A finance graduate.
- 2+ years of professional work experience.
- Good analytical skills, able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers.
- Fluent in written and verbal English communication
- Ability to collaborate and work with diverse teams across Africa and Asia.
- Proficient in Advanced MS Excel / Google sheets
- Experience with Google sheet automation, Google scripts or understanding about other platforms would be an added advantage
