We are seeking a Senior Digital Design & Verification Engineer that will be involved in the design, verification and development of advanced CMOS image sensors. The Senior Digital Design & Verification Engineer will be part of an international team that works in the design of timing and control signals for pixel array readout, amplifiers, and analogue/digital converters, signal processing blocks for noise reduction and colour enhancement, as well as I/O interfaces and low noise power supplies for use in Sony Semiconductor Solutions Image Sensors and similar specialty state-of-the-art products.
You will be part of a multi-discipline camera and imaging systems team, defining and documenting specifications, as well as developing RTL/firmware to control the sensor and process the video data. You will be a hands-on contributor who will also take full responsibility for the success of the design.
You will need to work closely with other teams in Japan and the rest of the design teams in Europe, with cross-functional teams (logic design, PI, product engineering, and functional safety teams).

You will contribute to:
- Architecture and product definition of the image sensor to solve cutting edge issues
- Digital Design, Verification and Validation of IP blocks and the product
- Support various internal and external stakeholders
You will have:
- MSc Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Academic Background: Technical, Electronics, Semiconductor, Physics.
- Familiarity with digital design flow, including RTL coding/simulation (Verilog/SystemVerilog), synthesis, static timing analysis, formality, CDC/DFT checks, and synthesis constraints.
- Significant experience in digital design and verification
- Ability to define and describe complex systems through illustrations and explanations.
- Knowledge of high performance and low power design techniques.
- Knowledge of FPGA and emulation platforms.
- Knowledge of SOC architecture.
- Knowledge of UVM and verification methodologies is a plus.
- Knowledge of assertion-based formal verification is a plus.
- Image processing/DSP knowledge is a plus.
- English speaking fluency
