As global Finance Business Partner for BU Specialties, you will take on a key leadership role, ensuring the strategic and operational financial steering of the Business Unit Specialties by leading the BU wide Finance Business Partner team, owning all BU FP&A processes, managing planning/reporting/compliance, strengthening price and margin performance, and providing reliable analyses to sustainably improve business results. Challenges that will make you grow - Lead and develop the global BU wide Finance Business Partner team for BU "Specialties" and drive a strong finance governance and performance framework.
- Act as a strategic sparring partner for BU management, providing financial guidance, challenging assumptions, and enabling high-quality business decisions and performance improvements.
- Optimize, standardize, own and steer all planning and performance processes including AOP, forecasts, management reporting, KPI reviews, dashboards, and analyses across all locations globally.
- Strengthen financial governance across the BU by ensuring disciplined performance management, clear accountabilities, and consistent operating mechanisms across all sites
- Drive pricing and margin performance, lead sales controlling activities, and assess product and customer profitability to identify improvement levers.
- Lead finance projects related to cost optimization, pricing excellence, complexity reduction, digitalization, and process automation.
- Prepare solid financial decision-support packages, analyses & dashboards for investments, product calculations, customer agreements, and strategic initiatives.
- Lead, coach and inspire your team while promoting a culture of ownership, accountability, proactivity and continuous improvement.
Qualifications that will get you ahead - Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
- At least 10 years of proven experience in Finance Business Partnering, Controlling, FP&A within an industrial / manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated leadership experience and capability: Ability to lead, influence, motivate and develop teams, ideally in a global set-up.
- Proficiency in Reporting-/Controlling-tools such as Power Bi and ERP-Systems (SAP).
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset with strategic orientation.
- Strong leadership skills and experience in leading teams in complex environments, cross-functional set-ups and in different locations.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, both in German and English language.
