Jouw rol als Training SpecialistAls Training Specialist ben je verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerpen, uitvoeren en continu verbeteren van operationele trainings- en certificeringsprogramma's binnen het distributiecentrum in Almelo.
Je zorgt ervoor dat elke medewerker, van nieuwe collega's tot ervaren operators, beschikt over de juiste kennis, vaardigheden en certificeringen om veilig, volgens de regels en effectief te werken.
Op het snijvlak van operations en people development geef je leiding aan het trainingsteam binnen het DC, werk je nauw samen met de Compliance Specialist en stem je af met Operations en HR om SOP's, audit resultaten en management prioriteiten te vertalen naar praktische trainingen die écht werken op de werkvloer.
Jouw werk heeft direct invloed op operationele prestaties, auditgereedheiden de duurzame ontwikkeling van de locatie.
Wat ga je doen?- Aansturen en ontwikkelen van het DC trainingsteam, met consistente uitvoering van trainingsstandaarden over alle shifts en afdelingen
- Opzetten van een gestructureerde en betrouwbare trainingsorganisatie, ook tijdens piekperiodes, audits en veranderingen
- Ontwerpen, ontwikkelen en geven van operationele trainingen op basis van SOP's, compliance-eisen en business doelstellingen
- Borgen dat onboarding-, refresher- en piekprogramma's medewerkers voorbereiden en certificeren voordat zij zelfstandig werken
- Beheren en actualiseren van trainingsmateriaal, handleidingen en e-learning content (in lijn met SOP's en compliance-eisen)
- Nauw samenwerken met de Compliance Specialist om auditbevindingen, CAPA's en eisen te vertalen naar gerichte trainingen en hercertificering
- Trainingsresultaten analyseren en structurele verbeterpunten signaleren (focus op gedrag, niet alleen afronding)
- In kaart brengen van trainingsbehoeften op basis van KPI's, audits en feedback
- Meten en rapporteren van de effectiviteit van trainingen en certificeringen aan DC-leiderschap
- Zorgen voor correcte documentatie van trainingen en certificeringen t.b.v. audits en compliance
- Actief ondersteunen bij audits, inclusief documentatie en rondgangen
Wat vragen wij jou?- MBO-/HBO-diploma (of gelijkwaardig) in Learning & Development, Operations, Logistiek, Onderwijs of vergelijkbaar
- 3-5 jaar ervaring in training, learning & development of instructional design, bij voorkeur in een operationele of logistieke omgeving
- Aantoonbare ervaring met het beheren/coördineren van trainingsprogramma's binnen een DC of operationele organisatie
- Kennis van SOP-gebaseerde trainingen en certificeringsprocessen
- Ervaring met Learning Management Systems (LMS) en e-learning platforms
- Sterke communicatieve en presentatievaardigheden
- Goede organisatorische en projectmanagementvaardigheden
- Analytisch vermogen om trainingseffectiviteit te meten en verbeteren
- Samenwerkingsgerichte houding richting Operations, Compliance en HR
- Ervaring met tijdsgebonden metrics (zoals TAKT time) is een pré

Your Role as Training SpecialistAs a Training Specialist, you are responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously improving operational training and certification programs within the Almelo distribution center.
You ensure that every employee-from new hires to experienced operators-has the right knowledge, skills, and certifications to work safely, compliantly, and effectively.
At the intersection of operations and people development, you lead the DC training team, work closely with the Compliance Specialist, and align with Operations and HR to translate SOPs, audit results, and management priorities into practical, effective training for the shop floor.
Your work has a direct impact on operational performance, audit readiness, and the sustainable development of the site.
What Will You Do?- Lead and develop the DC training team, ensuring consistent execution of training standards across all shifts and departments
- Build a structured and reliable training organization, also during peak periods, audits, and changes
- Design, develop, and deliver operational training based on SOPs, compliance requirements, and business objectives
- Ensure onboarding, refresher, and peak programs prepare and certify employees before they work independently
- Manage and update training materials, manuals, and e-learning content in line with SOPs and compliance standards
- Work closely with the Compliance Specialist to translate audit findings, CAPAs, and requirements into targeted training and recertification
- Analyze training outcomes and identify structural improvement opportunities (with a focus on behavior, not just completion)
- Identify training needs based on KPIs, audits, and feedback
- Measure and report the effectiveness of training and certification programs to DC leadership
- Ensure accurate documentation of trainings and certifications for audits and compliance
- Actively support audits, including documentation and walkthroughs
What Do We Ask From You?- MBO/HBO degree (or equivalent) in Learning & Development, Operations, Logistics, Education, or similar
- 3-5 years of experience in training, learning & development, or instructional design, preferably in an operational or logistics environment
- Proven experience managing/coordinating training programs within a DC or operational organization
- Knowledge of SOP-based training and certification processes
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Good organizational and project management skills
- Analytical skills to measure and improve training effectiveness
- Collaborative mindset, working closely with Operations, Compliance, and HR
- Experience with time-based metrics (such as TAKT time) is a plus
