Apply your experience from participating in technical development projects to aid in the development and deployment of the vital machinery for producing new LEGO® Bricks!
Core Responsibilities
As Senior Equipment Engineer, you will be a part of developing the Processing Equipment Solutions in close collaboration with the project manager, project team and main stakeholders, to ensure delivering the agreed result to our internal customers. More specifically your responsibilities will be to:
Support on scoping the project with focus on the technical solution, contribute with cost, time and resource estimations.
Conceptual work based on business needs and idea’s and knowledge of solutions from externals suppliers e.g. feeding systems, robots and cameras.
3D and 2D design in NX with all the required documentation by following requirements specification and internal and relevant external standards.
Perform Design Risk Assessments and ensuring appropriate risk mitigation.
Specify and order components in close collaboration with procurement and suppliers.
Prepare test plan and evaluated test results and perform structured root cause analysis if needed.
Support on the handover to Platform Owner and Sites for a strong anchoring in the line organization and support on technical matters.
Contribute to After Action Reviews and continuously implement the best practice in the way we work.

Part of R&D Processing, the team develops and delivers the next generation of Processing Equipment Solutions for Decoration and Assembly of LEGO elements. Their work aims to enhance our standing in the toy market by offering novel differentiation and play experiences.

Do you have what it takes?
We imagine that you have a strong technical foundation in developing automated production equipment. Moreover, you have:
Strong business process insight and cross functional collaboration to understand current and future needs to develop innovative equipment solutions in an end to end perspective.
Strong technical foundation within development of automated production equipment.
Solid experience in using 3D design software, e.g. Siemens NX or similar.
Working in TeamCenter or similar technical document management system.
Great knowledge of material properties and surface treatment for material selection.
Experience in planning, implement and evaluating test conducted for the equipment solution.
Understanding of safety requirements (Machine Directive) and other relevant standards for machine design.
Significant experience in machine handling.
Proficiency in English written and spoken
