The WatHab WaSH Project Officer will play a pivotal role in managing and supporting water projects. Working in close coordination with the relevant authorities, s/he will contribute to developing strategic and practical solutions for water supply systems that enhance service delivery and improve the sustainability and resilience of systems in the targeted localities.
Based in Khartoum, the WatHab Project Officer will plan, design, and implement engineering projects, while also supporting capacity-building approaches within the scope of the ICRC’s water and habitat assistance objectives, with supervision and coaching from their hierarchical superiors. S/he monitors the full project cycle, from the assessment and project proposal through closure and Monitoring & Evaluation, following the institutional and WatHab unit guidelines and the strategic framework.
