The role
We’re looking for an experienced Apparel Product Development Manager to lead and inspire a team of Product Developers. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in translating design vision into commercially successful, athlete‑ready product, ensuring the right quality, cost, and timing every step of the way.
You’ll work closely with Design, Product Management, Sourcing, and global factory partners, while shaping how product is developed, delivered, and continuously improved.
What you’ll do
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Developers in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment
- Drive on‑time commercialisation while maintaining quality and brand standards
- Partner cross‑functionally to solve problems and deliver fit‑for‑purpose product
- Build strong relationships with global suppliers and factory partners
- Represent Product Development in cross‑functional and leadership forums
- Contribute to process improvement and ways of working across Product Creation
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years’ experience in apparel product development, ideally within teamwear or licensed product
- Proven people management experience and a passion for developing others
- Strong understanding of apparel construction, manufacturability, costing, and quality
- Experience working directly with factories and vendors
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem‑solving skills
- Fluency in English (written and verbal)
- Teamsport, licensed product, and/or Centric PLM experience is a strong plus
