.NET Engineer – Customer Recognition (Senior)

You & your role
A seasoned .NET Backend Engineer with strong expertise in designing, building, and operating scalable cloud‑based systems on the Microsoft stack. Demonstrates ownership across the full software lifecycle, from API design and architecture through CI/CD and production support, while consistently applying clean code and modern engineering practices.
The Content Recognition Hub aims to save significant hours by automating the reading and interpretation of content such as emails and documents through various AI solutions. Major use cases include email recognition services that process all customer-facing mailboxes, as well as mortgage and loan applications in the housing domain, where we deliver substantial business value.

Top responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance Web APIs using C# and .NET 7/8, with a strong focus on scalability, security, and reliability
Architect and implement clean, maintainable, and testable code using established design patterns such as Repository, Factory, and Singleton, as well as SOLID principles
Define and govern RESTful API contracts, including request/response validation, versioning strategies, and consistent error handling
Build and operate cloud-native backend solutions on Azure, leveraging:
Azure App Services for scalable API hosting
Azure Functions for serverless and event‑driven workloads
Azure Service Bus for asynchronous and decoupled messaging
Design, implement, and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines using YAML, enabling reliable and repeatable deployments
Automate build, test, and deployment pipelines, promoting fast feedback loops and high delivery quality
Ensure system reliability by supporting production environments, including monitoring, logging, root cause analysis, and incident resolution
Actively participate in solution architecture and API design discussions, contributing technical leadership and pragmatic decision-making
Apply and promote best practices in software architecture, clean code, and cloud engineering, mentoring peers and raising overall engineering standards

You & your talent
Technical Skills
Strong experience with C# and .NET (7/8) for backend development
Proven experience building RESTful Web APIs
Hands‑on experience with Azure Cloud Services, including Functions, App Services, Service Bus, Key Vault, Storage, and Entra ID
Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines (YAML‑based CI/CD)
Solid understanding of software design patterns and backend architecture
Strong testing mindset with experience across unit, integration, system, and performance testing
Python would be a great advantage
Experience
Approximately 5-7 years of experience in .NET backend development
Experience working in Agile or DevOps‑oriented teams
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Clear communication with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to learn new technologies
Able to drive technical decisions with a long‑term architectural perspective
Proactive attitude towards risk and compliance regulation.
