Join a dynamic team focused on managing the global Request For Quotation (RFQ) process for moulds and mould parts. This role is essential for ensuring effective communication and collaboration with both internal teams and external suppliers!
Core Responsibilities
- Responsible for Request For Quotation (RFQ) to external suppliers of moulds and mould parts on a global platform, and enable that the RFQ process is documented, updated and continuously improved.
- High degree of stakeholder management, both internal and external, to ensure alignment and communication
- Engage in IT system changes and request improvements when relevant, help with testing from end user perspective as well as learning new system features when required.
- It is also expected to contribute to the team in flexibility, team building and development by e.g. prepare and facilitate meetings.
- Being back-up for placing the orders (creating PO’s) and updating data in SAP. Making sure dates are correct etc.
- Power BI being able to understand and use in a daily operation execution
- Handle the daily local planning operations and be the primary contact for customers for the Planning area you are responsible for.

The External Mould Factory is responsible for managing all external suppliers delivering mould designs, mould parts, and complete moulds to LEGO’s global production sites. It forms an integral part of the wider Mould Supply and Technology organization, ensuring that high-quality moulds are delivered on time to support the LEGO moulding production.
A key to the role in securing the sourcing of moulds and mould parts at the right quality, lead time and cost. Success in this role requires balancing the responsibilities of being both a LEGO ambassador and a representative for our collaborators, with a high degree of autonomy and accountability. You will complete, develop and implement, processes, and improvement initiatives, monitor capacity and deliveries, and ensure compliance with LEGO standards and confidentiality requirements.
Do you have what it takes
The ideal candidate has an education in a business-related field or equivalent working experience, and proven experience collaborating with suppliers and customers, with the ability to communicate effectively and constructively challenge at all organizational levels.
Moreover, they come with:
- Strong background in problem solving, collaboration with different departments, and driving process improvements.
- Experience working in a global organization, demonstrating the ability to share knowledge and best practices effectively in both spoken and written English.
- A collaborative teammate with the ability to make sound decisions and deliver results independently when needed.
- Highly structured and meticulous, with a strong focus on quality, delivery, and execution.
- Pragmatic and solution-oriented approach, capable of translating theory into practical, effective outcomes.
- Proficiency in SAP would be beneficial
The position is based in Billund, DK and relocation support is not offered for this role.
