Your Impact
As a Human Resources Generalist, you will be based in Copenhagen, working as part of our Nordic Human Resources team.
In this role, you will coordinate and manage key HR processes and programs for the Copenhagen office while collaborating with the wider Nordic HR and People function.
You will deliver exceptional support to colleagues, ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and address complex HR issues with a problem-solving approach in partnership with the HR Manager who is based in Stockholm.
You will be part of a closely knit Nordic HR team that supports each other on various HR matters and who seek each other for inspiration and development. The team is built on a trusting and caring environment that values knowledge sharing and collaborative mindset.
This is a cover position starting June 1, 2025, running for approximately 14 months.
The role involves managing the entire employee lifecycle, where you will oversee onboarding processes, role changes, advancements, flexible work arrangements, leaves of absence, parental leaves, and separations.
You will focus on supporting colleagues throughout their career journey to ensure a consistent and equitable human resources experience. Additionally, you will handle human resources administration and compliance, such as overseeing benefits administration, communicating program updates, and addressing benefits-related queries. Ensuring adherence to local employment laws, equal treatment regulations, GDPR, and workplace policies will be essential, with a particular advantage being a solid understanding of Danish vacation law and parental leave legislation. You will stay informed about policy changes, communicate office-specific and firm-wide updates, and coordinate employment changes with payroll while supporting the monthly payroll process.
Another important aspect of the role is risk management and policy implementation, where you will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies in collaboration with the human resources Manager and Firm Legal when necessary.
You will implement required changes and offer guidance on risk management matters. The position also emphasizes employee well-being and mental health, where you will act as the local ambassador for Mind Matters, a global mental health initiative, and serve as the work environment specialist. You will provide expertise, tools, and support in areas such as diversity, mobility, and part-time programs to foster a supportive workplace environment.
Collaboration and stakeholder management are integral to the role, where you will partner closely with Copenhagen leadership, local function leads, and global human resources colleagues to provide ongoing support. You will advise office leadership on human resources issues and policies, engaging the Nordic human resources Manager when necessary.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to lead or contribute to ad hoc human resources projects and analyses aimed at driving insights and improvements across the organization.
Your qualifications and skills
- Bachelor´s degree preferably in HR, law, psychology or related fields
- 2+ years of experience in HR preferably in a professional services firm
- Thorough understanding of Danish employment law
- Experience in working on SAP Success Factors
- Strong problem-solving skills and capability of thinking through nuanced and complex situations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with great stakeholder management abilities
- Outstanding organizational and administrative skills
- Comfortable with multi-tasking, working under pressure and prioritizing within a fast-paced, demanding environment
