🤔 About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to play a key role in delivering high-quality, remote care for patients with long-term conditions across the UK. Working from home, you’ll manage your own clinic and collaborate closely with Suvera’s multidisciplinary clinical team to support and optimise treatment in a Primary Care setting.
As part of our growing healthtech startup, you’ll contribute to a new model of care that blends clinical expertise with innovative technology. This is a high-impact role where your day-to-day work directly supports better outcomes for patients managing chronic conditions. You’ll report to our Clinical Operations Lead, with supervision from our Clinical Lead.

This fully remote position offers a salary of £27-£33k, depending on experience and qualifications plus 32 days holiday + bank holidays. Full benefits below.

💻 What you'll be doing :
Clinical Responsibilities
- Record and manage patient health data in Suvera’s Dashboard and GP Practice systems.
- Interpret and stratify clinical risk data in line with SOPs
- Provide lifestyle advice around smoking, alcohol, diet, and exercise
- Communicate and collaborate with the wider clinical team as needed
- Refer complex cases promptly to the appropriate clinician
- Support clinical governance, audit participation, and patient safety processes
- Reviewing clinical letters and completing medicine reconciliation
- Review patient information using clinical judgement to identify needs, address concerns, and ensure safe, effective care — including lifestyle advice and referrals where appropriate. Focus areas include NDH, hypertension, asthma, and hypercholesterolaemia.
- Gain informed consent for medication changes, provide patient education and counselling on prescribed medicines, including advice on adherence and managing side effects.
- Ensuring appropriate tests are ordered and completed by patients.
- Identifying and resolving medicine related queries, ensuring safe prescribing practice and adherence to NICE guidelines.
- Support in the processing of medicine requests, ensuring accuracy, appropriate monitoring, and alignment with formulary and prescribing guidelines.
Non-Clinical / Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and safety at all times
- Onboard patients into Suvera’s Virtual Clinic
- Build and maintain trust-based relationships with patients
- Document clinical notes accurately in Suvera and partner GP systems
- Support QOF (Quality Outcomes Framework) recall and follow-up activity
- Collaborate with operations and admin teams as needed
- Contribute to audits, reporting, and service improvements
- Participate in shared learning sessions with Suvera and GP partners
- Support continuous development of Suvera’s internal systems and workflows
- Fulfil other administrative duties as required
- Stay up to date with all mandatory and role-specific training
- Attend regular internal and external meetings as agreed with your line manager
- Join multidisciplinary team meetings to review significant clinical events and reflect on practice
Training & Development
- Engage fully in Suvera’s training programmes and annual appraisal process
- Take ownership of personal and professional development
- Share knowledge and mentor others undertaking similar roles when appropriate
👀 We're looking for someone who
Must have:
- Currently working as a Pharmacy Technician within NHS and have more than 12 months experience in this role
- Completed a two-year accredited pharmacy technician course involving a mix of practical work experience and study via GPhC-accredited courses, GPhC-recognised qualifications or a GPhC approved apprenticeship pathways
- Acts professionally and ethically at all times
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Confident speaking with patients via email, phone, messaging or video
- Tech-savvy – familiar with EMIS Web, SystmOne, and Microsoft Office
- Follows SOPs and policies with care and consistency
