Core responsibilities
The Quality Manager ensures quality in the Play and Learning experience by managing QA activities in Product, Technology, and Equipment projects, working closely with internal teams.
Drive evaluation and recommend QA activities based on technology readiness levels linked to results at development gates.
Set objectives and targets for quality requirements and performance, ensuring flawless execution.
Recommend Quality go/no go decisions.
Offer mentorship to project and sponsor leadership teams regarding tradeoff decisions, priorities, capability building, and prioritization linked to quality assurance in development projects.
Report, heighten, and alleviate risks and critical project issues concerning quality and technical feasibility.
Encourage and nurture Quality Assurance abilities with team members in Product Development, Engineering, and Quality departments within the domains of DFSS and APQP/PPAP.

You will join our Quality in Development - Technology development team in Billund and be part of a collaborative team focusing on Quality Assurance and Risk mitigation for Technology Development programs.
We contribute significantly to the creation of upcoming play and educational products, ensuring a top-tier Play & Learning journey throughout the LEGO® Novelty and Technology development range.

Proven work experience within Quality, Product Build, Engineering, Technology Development, and/or Project Management, preferably from a larger global company.
Experience from interdisciplinary development activities in the electronics industry will be a huge advantage.
Experience with APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning), PPAP (Production Part Approval), DFSS (Develop for Six Sigma), or DFX, and preferably project management experience.
Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent APQP experience.
Experience in Quality management, Product Development, and/or Technology development in a multi-functional international work environment.
Ability to engage with both hardcore tech specialists and business leader levels, translating technical topics to quality approaches and business decisions.
Expertise in activating statistical tools and advanced quality tools (QFD, FMEA, SPC, etc.) to secure play experience and navigate tough trade-off discussions.
Willingness to travel approx. 10 days a year.
