THE POSITION
Main activities and responsibilities
Reporting organizationally to the Executive Assistant, the Administrative Assistant role will support executive efforts for the FIFA World Cup 26™ that for the first time ever, is hosting 48 teams and 1,200+ players across 3 countries and 16 venues. This role will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Office of the CTO and the FIFA26 Canada Senior Leadership Team.
The main responsibilities of Administrative Assistant for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support for the Office of the CTO and FIFA26 Canada Senior Leadership Team.
- Assist in organizing and managing event travel logistics, including transportation and accommodation for the Senior Leadership Team.
- Prepare reports and PowerPoint presentations.
- Assist with meeting scheduling and logistics.
- Coordinate and support tournament-related meetings, special events and provide project management support as needed.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion and professionalism.

Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or similar level of education or working experience.
Work Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a coordinator/administrative assistant role.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- High Level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude, patience, persistence, and a willingness to contribute to team cohesiveness.
Languages
- Fluent in English. French proficiency is a plus.
Technology
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint,) and planning software and online collaboration tools.
