About this role:
Delivery of the BTEC sport qualification programme for the Under 18s
Responsibilities:
- Delivering BTEC sport to the Under 18s
- Tracking and monitoring of player progression on the BTEC sport programme
- Put in place individual learning plans for all learners.
- Assess learner work and track grades in line with BTEC and Premier League guidelines.
- Organise classroom and learning resources to encourage positive learning environment at the academy.
- Liaising with education provider on delivery of BTEC Sport qualification
- Attending relevant Premier League training for BTEC qualifications
- Undertake duties and role of Lead BTEC Sport Tutor in their absence.
- Other duties and responsibilities as required by line manager
- Upholding and promoting the Club policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Equal Opportunities policies and procedures.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (essential)
- Experience working in an elite sporting environment (essential)
- A1 Assessors qualification (desired)
- A proven track record of delivering outstanding results for 16-19 year olds
- An expert in delivery of the BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Sport Level 3
- Experienced in tracking and monitoring BTEC Sport provision
- Experience of BTEC Compliance and submission guidelines
- Able to build strong relationships with students and professionals alike
