Merchandiser focusing on
Lifestyle Everyday Apparel category to join our Merchandising team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

Let's talk about the roleAs a Merchandiser for the Lifestyle category, you will play a key role in supporting the merchandising process to deliver best-in-class exclusive products and manage the EU product line throughout its full lifecycle. You will work closely with Global Product Management to monitor product performance, ensuring margin targets are achieved while identifying and implementing new business opportunities. Your work will focus on building consumer-right assortments that meet category KPIs, supported by clear, logical, and visually compelling line plans that balance product, price, and color.
How you'll make a difference:Merchandising led approach
- Brief and Partner with Global Team to develop the right products for the EMEA market that align with the EMEA Lifestyle strategy to make sure the financial goals are reached. Focus on Lifestyle Essentials and Logowear
- Own the Category KPI's, including revenue, SKU count, margins.
- Deliver channel segmentation and differentiation: DTC vs. Wholesale & Specialty vs. Strategic Key accounts, based on feedback.
- Line planning with logical architecture on product, price and color.
- Plan Product & color Lifecycle for the key Franchises. Appropriate innovation & newness by season.
Marketplace
- Be the expert for own area of business
- Identify opportunities based on the customer needs and consumer profiles
- Know the competition (innovations, materials, features / benefits, pricing architecture, best sellers)
- Trends. Know where the market is heading next (reference brands, products, materials, features / benefits, price)
- Gather and filter seasonal market feedback and input to for the current or future seasons.
- Know the distribution, from Specialty stores, to Key Accounts, Sporting goods and DTC.
Communication
- Drive cross-functional partnerships with planning, sales, retail and marketing during the Go-to-Market process
- Participate and feedback during Global meetings, present at GTM meetings, sales meetings and account meetings.
- Partner across functions to create a strong '1 Team' culture of support, visibility and sharing.
Reporting
- Support on sell-in & sell-out analysis
- Use the merchandising led report suite to enable good decision making for own area of business
- Channel segmentation
- Productivity
- Flow & Lifecycle management
- Seasonal briefing
- Administration of responsible Line and SKU List
Skills for Success:- A few years of experience in merchandising / product creation / retail in a lifestyle environment
- Deep understanding of outdoor, streetwear, sportwear market and consumer trends.
- Strong analytical skill and a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken), any other European language would be a plus
- Strong interpersonal communication, presentation, and problem solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload according to strategic choices
- Ability to work in an open environment with product team and cross-functional partners
- Willingness to travel to stores, partners and internal meetings.
