Core responsibilities
Lead the LEGO Group’s Global Property all-risk and Business Interruption insurance program – including preparation of risk information, claims handling, program design, risk presenting to and negotiating with insurance markets in close co-operation with our insurance brokers
Lead the LEGO Groups Global Construction all-risk insurance portfolio and new insurance placements in close co-operation with project teams and insurance brokers
Lead the property risk survey/inspection program including, in co-operation with the rest of the risk management & insurance team, the risk dialogues and recommendation evaluation/follow up with for example Facility, EHS and Fire/safety.
Drive our proactive risk management approach including secure guidelines are continuously kept up to date addressing sufficient risk mitigation response to new risks – in close collaboration with for example fire/safety and external risk engineers
Across above areas you take lead on strong processes are implemented facilitating smooth cooperation with internal and external stakeholders
You will for a few countries in Europe be the go-to person for our operations/sales across all our non-life insurance programs – thus, you will work on generalist level on other non-life insurance lines

The Risk Management & Insurance team is a Global Centre of Excellence within Legal, Compliance and Risk Management (LCR) in the LEGO Group.
The risk and insurance team consist of seven employees, one based in Shanghai and six in Billund, and assist the LEGO Group, KIRKBI and Family business in all non-life insurance matters including insurance procurement, claims handling and general insurance queries.
You will work closely with the rest of the risk management & insurance team and play your part in we succeed together as one team.
Do You Have What It Takes?
Proven strong experience working with global construction and property insurance programs.
Strong and broad experience with global insurance program structures and compliant solutions.
Experience with the MFL, EML/PML and NLE terminology.
Technical interest (or background) in loss prevention solutions (sprinkler designs, alarm systems and FM-NFPA standards).
Background as a risk manager, insurance broker or underwriter with relevant education from for example the Danish Insurance Academy or similar internationally.
Ability to drive process and standard developments and stay on course within these on an ongoing basis.
Relevant experience working with Business Continuity Management, supplier risks and business interdependencies is a positive.
Motivated by working closely together with many stakeholders – from the core risk management and insurance team and stakeholders across the organization as well as insurance brokers, risk engineers and insurers/re-insurers etc.
Strong interpersonal skills; quickly builds trust and effective networks with stakeholders and colleagues.
Advanced proficiency in English (both written and spoken – C1 level or equivalent).
Willingness and ability to travel 20–30 days per year.
