The GSS HR Shared Services (GSS HRSS) is a unit based in Global Hub – Manila, operating under the Support and Digital Transformation (SDT) of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
GSS HRSS provides a wide range of HR services to support ICRC’s operations in deploying its workforce to the field & headquarters and in accompanying their administrative journey in the organization. It is comprised of different services for employees under Swiss contract, such as Deployment, Rewards, Payroll, Personal & Profession Information (PPI) administration, Staff Health Support Services (SHSS), and Offboarding. GSS HRSS also extends its services to the entire workforce of the ICRC through iDevelop request processing, and to the employees under resident contracts for the administration of their International Retirement and Savings Plan (IRSP).
The Business Transformation Team (BTT) of GSS HRSS drives innovation in business projects and solutions and effectively oversee new processes, improvements, and transformations.
Within the BTT, the Training & Knowledge Management Officer contributes to the development and implementation of a strengthened knowledge management and training capability for HRSS. They drive and implement learning and knowledge management program strategy to ensurethe right people have the right skills and information at the right time to perform effectively and consistently.
