Summary
DHL is hiring a Credit Risk Analyst to join its Heredia, Costa Rica team. In this role, you will investigate and analyze credit risks, using available internet and credit agency tools and information. Additional tasks and accountabilities include but are not limited to:
Main Responsibilities
- Analyze financial and credit information to assess customer creditworthiness and determine appropriate credit risk exposure.
- Evaluate and recommend credit approvals, extensions, renewals, modifications, or revocations based on account performance and risk assessment.
- Prepare and maintain accurate reports related to approved, renewed, and revoked credit facilities.
- Utilize internal and external credit assessment tools, including Credit Protector and COFACE databases, to support credit evaluations and decision-making.
- Ensure the confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive information, following company policies and applying appropriate data classification and labeling standards when required.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support credit-related inquiries and promote effective risk management practices.
- Perform additional duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 months of experience in Credit Risk, Query Handling, or related financial processes (mandatory).
- Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal (mandatory).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify potential risks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
