If this sounds like you, you've come to the right place. Your ImpactYou will work with your assigned Partners as an Executive Assistant to organize and leverage their time effectively, manage their complex schedules and coordinate their travel logistics.
In this role, you will assume responsibility for planning, organizing and executing major projects. You will also be responsible for planning client and internal meetings, conference calls, zoom meetings, conferences/events and lunches/dinners.
You will collaborate with clients, client administrative contacts and with department members in creating a smooth workflow including soliciting assistance from others as needed, helping others as appropriate, and maintaining follow-through. You will have flexibility to ensure appropriate, timely actions and that deadlines are met. You will also act as liaison for assigned individuals to ensure that various departments provide requested support in an efficient, timely manner.
Key aspects of your role include, extensive experience of complex diary management, across multiple time zones, at senior level, planning and managing complex travel arrangements and itineraries, for very busy diaries with an awareness of impact on Partner priorities, producing and proof-reading correspondence, documents, packs and presentations if and when required, frequently under tight time constraints and monitoring emails and respond as appropriate when required
You will proactively screen and deal with calls and other correspondence, responsibly and professionally with an awareness of Partner priorities. You will effectively liaise with clients, teams and other contacts and work collaboratively with Executive Assistants in a team environment, providing back up cover for their Partners during holiday or sickness. Some administrative responsibilities will include also filing, maintenance of records, expenses and time sheets, Engage and invoicing, etc.
You will work in our Johannesburg office as part of our EEMA EA team, with approximately 1,500 consulting and non-consulting colleagues.
You will support Firm Leadership in our Africa office and report to the Senior Manager of Administration and Executive Assistants for EEMA, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Your qualifications and skills- Solid experience of working at senior level in a professional, fast paced environment (preferably corporate)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Degree level and/or secretarial qualification preferred
- Proven organizational skills working with complex diaries at a senior level
- Ability to handle multiple deadlines with excellent time management and instinct for prioritization
- Ability to switch between detailed work and the bigger picture to assist Partner
- Ability to work on own initiative and to have a solutions-oriented approach, thinking out of the box on problem solving without instruction
- Positive attitude with a willingness to provide the highest levels of internal and external client service. Trustworthy and confidential
- Strong team player with a positive influence on others - able to work seamlessly with other EAs and consultants and used to working in a team environment
