Your specific responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, organizing and delivering programs (on-demand, virtual, and in-person), managing projects, driving process improvements, modifying programs, assessing program impact, and managing/analyzing data. Regular tasks may involve managing program venue logistics, coordinating with faculty, overseeing communications, monitoring budgets and processing invoices, and collecting feedback through surveys.
This role requires you to take on two key areas of responsibility:
Regional ResponsibilitiesYou will lead the Associate Partner cohort for the region. This includes developing learning priorities and plans for Associate Partner-level colleagues, defining learning objectives and needs, creating the learning calendar, and identifying appropriate delivery channels, e.g., Learning Days, Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EEMA) sessions, etc. You will collaborate with the central Associate Partner (AP) learning team to ensure that programs leverage the latest knowledge and align with the firm's approaches and materials. Additionally, you will work closely with local office stakeholders to ensure that all programs are relevant and tailored to the local context and priorities.
In this capacity, you will also serve as the strategic lead for the upper-tenure cohort. This involves reviewing the overall strategy and journey for Team Leader (TL) transitions to Associate Partner, and working closely with the TL cohort lead to integrate learning journeys, experiences, and communications. Furthermore, you will support the EEMA Learning Manager in executing the EEMA Regional Learning strategy and contribute to regional learning projects, such as program improvements, content updates, and cross-functional initiatives with the firm's Learning team.
Africa Office ResponsibilitiesYou will support the Learning Manager in designing and rolling out Personal Development Journeys for the Africa Office, specifically for the Engagement Manager and Partner cohorts, in collaboration with external coaches. You will take the lead on all aspects of program delivery. Additionally, you will support the office and its locations with local learning programming by acting as a thought partner on program design and impact. You will enable local teams to deliver their agendas by sharing best practices, processes, and materials, while collaborating to ensure alignment with regional and firm-wide learning agendas. This approach will help optimize shared resources and ensure a complementary learning strategy.
As a Learning Specialist, you will support in the execution and rollout of the Regional Learning strategy within EEMA, Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa, with a special focus on Africa. This is a full-time position in Learning.
You will work closely with the Regional Heads of Learning, the local office Director of People (or a seasoned Professional Development Manager), EEMA Consulting teams, and other people stakeholders in your local office location and across the region.
You will report to the Senior Manager of EEMA Learning function.

Your qualifications and skills- University degree required
- 5+ years of experience in HR or Human Capital or People Development within a professional services firm
- Passion for people development and learning
- Experience in learning, coaching or professional development
- Great energy, drive, and entrepreneurship
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent organization capabilities, including the ability to initiate tasks independently and see them through to completion
- Exceptional time management to meet your responsibilities in a complex and largely autonomous work environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written, and listening) with groups of varying sizes and at all levels; strong influencing capabilities; ability to connect/collaborate with Partners, Consultants, and other firm support colleagues; ability to build consensus
- Strong problem-solving skills and the flexibility to deal with uncertainty and obstacles in a fast-paced and quick-changing environment
- Experience and confidence using It-based systems and tools
- Comfortable with numbers, analysis, and systems
