Who are we?
Hi! We’re KLABU, which means ‘club’ in Swahili. We’re the cross-border sports club changing the playing field for refugees. Our mission is to build clubhouses where refugees can find joy, pride and hope through sports, no matter the circumstances. Each clubhouse has its own unique KLABU sportswear, available to supporters worldwide who want to play their part. Our goal: to build the world’s biggest sports club and support refugees on their way to a better future.
Now, we’re looking for a Campaigns Manager to work alongside the rest of our Storytelling
Team. You will play a key role in leading KLABU productions, from brand collaborations and activations to impactful campaigns.

Creating meaningful connections across borders is central to our work, from refugee settings to supporters around the world.
To support this momentum, we are strengthening our organisation with a dedicated Campaigns Manager. This role will be central to shaping how KLABU shows up in the world, combining strong production skills with a sharp sense of storytelling, visibility and media relevance.

What you will do
You will work closely with the Storytelling Team and collaborate across the wider KLABU organisation. You will also manage relationships with partners, agencies, media and suppliers.
Your responsibilities include:
- Leading the planning, production and execution of KLABU campaigns and activations
- Identifying and managing PR and media opportunities connected to campaigns, in collaboration with the Storytelling Team
- Coordinating logistics, timelines and production schedules from concept to delivery
- Managing communication with partners, vendors, media and suppliers
- Supporting the development of press moments, launches and media friendly activations
- Overseeing budgets and ensuring clear expectations across all stakeholders
- Ensuring smooth processes and clear communication throughout every project
Your skills and experience
- 3+ years of experience in project management within advertising, marketing or media
- Experience in in the humanitarian sector is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and cross cultural sensitivity
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial organisation
- A mission driven mindset with strong attention to detail
- Fluent in English; additional languages are welcome
- Available to work from our office in Amsterdam (NB: at this stage of the organisation, we cannot support a visa unfortunately)

- Salary range of EUR 45,000-52,000 gross per year including holiday allowance, with room to grow in the coming years
