Role Overview:
As the Associate Analyst for Payroll & People Analytics, you will take charge of the payroll function while harnessing the power of data analytics to provide valuable insights. Reporting to the Senior Manager - HR Shared Services and Compensation & Benefits, you will play a critical role in optimising payroll processes and contributing data-driven perspectives for informed decision-making.
What You'll do:
Payroll Administration:
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions for Cellulant Group entities.
- Ensure payroll compliance with local regulations and internal policies across all regions.
- Manage any payroll discrepancies, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Streamline payroll processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with finance teams to ensure statutory compliance for all statutory payroll deductions.
People Analytics:
- Utilise advanced data analytics tools to analyse reports from our primary HRIS, payroll system and performance management systems and extract meaningful insights related to workforce trends, performance, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with HR stakeholders across Cellulant Group to develop and implement data-driven solutions around talent acquisition, retention and performance management.
- Conduct regular analysis of workforce data to identify patterns and areas for improvement.
- Lead the development and maintenance of a comprehensive people dashboard.
Reporting and Compliance:
- Provide expertise in the interpretation and analysis of payroll and people data.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on payroll and people analytics for senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and ethical standards.
- Conduct periodic audits to verify data accuracy and compliance.
- Communicate payroll and analytics findings effectively to relevant stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in both payroll and analytics functions.
- Contribute to the enhancement of payroll and analytics capabilities through technology integration.
- Stay informed about industry best practices in payroll administration and people analytics and actively participate in ongoing training and development to keep up with emerging trends.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement and optimise HR technology solutions.
Budget management and tracking for the People & Culture team
- Serve as the primary liaison between the People & Culture team and the finance department for budgeting purposes.
- Monitor and analyze the utilization of the team's budget to ensure that expenditure remains within the approved budget..
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, HR, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in payroll administration and people analytics.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data visualisation tools.
- Knowledge of payroll regulations and best practices.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
